	The American Empire, or Imperial Americana, came to power during the third world war when failed peacekeeping policies resulted in the deployment of nuclear weapons. As the largest single possessor of nuclear weapons, the American Empire emerged from the war unscathed and unquestionable. The American Empire maintains itself as being an international arbiter and peacekeper, although critics object to the American Empire's assumption of sole global superpower and point out that its policies are expansionist in nature.

	The American Empire is in charge of the international Peacekeeping Force (PKF).
