| In a time where an individual's ghost is not necessarily limited to an organic physical body, a new term is required that can cover the broad range of physical states of being that may be possessed. This actual physical state of being is known as a shell. As its literal definition implies, a shell is simply a physical entity that contains nothing. A shell can be occupied, so to speak, by a ghost. Although the definition of ghost is debatable, it is generally agreed upon that a shell is not the evident manifest of the notion of humanity. | ||
