This is one of my favourite episodes. Aramaki's little jaunt was interesting, but the Major's experience at the hospital is what makes this episode one of my favourites. Aoi makes a very cool appearance and you get to learn more about cyborg bodies.

I think this episode was supposed to be serious, but I did do a bit of laughing. Ok, I started laughing when the fake Doctor came, I stopped when Aoi came in, then I resumed laughing when Aoi left. Some of the Major's facial expressions are priceless.
